Juno is the youngest daughter of Saturn and Rhea and she has five siblings; Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, Ceres, and Vesta. When their father died and the boys split up the world, Vesta was cast aside because she was simply the goddess of the hearth. Juno is the Roman Goddess of women and childbirth. Juno also looked over all of the married women in Rome.
Juno was tricked horribly and had to marry her brother, Jupiter, out of pity. Jupiter and Juno had two children together, Mars and Vulcan. Jupiter had many affairs with other woman and goddesses but if Juno was jealous, she didn't show it. Juno was happy to be the Queen of the Gods and was liked very much by Romans and the other Gods. By marrying Jupiter she was given the power to also throw lightning bolts.
