Artemis is the Greek Goddess of hunting, wild animals, the moon, virginity, and chastity. Artemis has sworn on the River Styx that she will never have any sort of sexual interaction with any men. She lives on the run with a group of women called the Hunters of Artemis. Everyone in The Hunters of Artemis has also sworn never to have any interactions with men and have a spell on them to make them age slower so they can live to be hundreds of years old.
Artemis and her twin brother, Apollo, are children of Zeus and Leto, a mortal woman who lived on farm outside of Athens. Artemis and Apollo are alike and are opposites. (see table below) Apollo and Artemis get into many fights with each other, sometimes causing wars among the mortals. Artemis' half siblings are Ares, Hephaestus, Athena, Hermes, Aphrodite, and Dionysus

Animals that were sacred to Artemis were deer and bears. Artemis was known to love singing and dancing so people would sing many songs about her and dance a lot in her temples. Artemis was one of the least worshipped of all of the Olympians because of what she represented.
